New Orleans Jazz National Park
Explore the history of jazz music at the 4-acre New Orleans Jazz National Park. The park features the Jazz Walk of Fame, which highlights a famous jazz musician at each passing lamp post. Some of the musicians honored include Jelly Roll Morton, Al Hirt, Danny Barker, and of course, New Orleans' own Louis Armstrong.

City Park New Orleans
Spend some time venturing through City Park New Orleans. The park is home to attractions like the New Orleans Botanical Garden, and the New Orleans Museum of Art. Sydney & Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden
Admire over fifty sculptures that reside in what is considered to be one of the most significant sculpture installations in the nation, the Sydney & Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. The garden is part of the New Orleans Museum of Art and many of the pieces featured have been donated to the museum. Master sculptors of the 20th century like Antoine Bourdelle, Henry Moore, Jacques Lipchitz, and Louise Bourgeois have works featured in the garden.

Algiers Ferry Service
Take a ride on the Algiers Ferry Service. The ferry has been in operation since 1827 and travels from the foot of Canal Street to Algiers on the West Bank. One dollar gets you on board, and across the Mississippi River. There are three terminals to depart from: Canal Street -1 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130, Algiers - 1 Morgan St, New Orleans, LA 70114, and Gretna - 1 Huey P. Long, Gretna, LA 70053.
